 Kathy Mellor, author of Unleashing Your Voice! Transformational Public Speaking for the Statesman, has 30 years of public speaking experience in competitive, professional, and academic venues. She has a B.S. in Psychology and an MBA in Finance. Mentoring the youth is a passion in her life, she has experience in several LEMI projects and currently builds statesmen through the Thomas Jefferson Youth Certification (TJYC) project. Andrew Humiston, winner of the 2010 Andau Character Prize from George Wythe University, coached an Unleashing Your Voice! class at United Scholar Academy. He has also achieved the Eagle Scout rank and was elected as Student Representative by his peers. This program can be used in conjunction with any class environment which includes student presentations or in a public speaking elective class.
